The cover is super important and we like to create something that will capture reader's interest, just like magazines on the newsstands. Some have a photo of a key person (this could be you) or it could be an image of a key product/service of yours or maybe it will be an inspiring, emotive image.

We will talk about this on our strategy call with you once you come on board and we advanced to the Design stage.

The good news is, you can choose from print or digital or both.

We have magazine packages to suit your needs.

There a number of print options for your magazine, which we will discuss then on our strategy call.

Our advertised Mini & Standard magazine packages include 10 complimentary printed copies of your magazine. And you can, of course print more if you like.

And you can use our preferred printers or select your own. That's absolutely fine with us!

We will provide you with the final print files and you are in control! 

A magalog is a type of business magazine - a cross between a magazine and a catalog.

It’s a great idea for every business to have either one, to showcase the products and services they offer.

It all depends on the type of content and style you prefer. Some businesses prefer to share content that is more editorial on the other hand, some prefer to be more informational or sales focussed.

Doesn’t matter what we call it, we will help you work out the right balance for your business objectives.

A Brand Identity Guide

1. A Brand Identity Guide or ‘brand book’ is a pre-requirement for our design team to have before we can start your magazine. This is to ensure we protect your brand and ensure consistency. If you do not have one, we can create one for you. It is typically a 4-5 page PDF outlining your logo, typeface, colours and brand descriptors that our design teams will follow closely.

There is an additional cost to create your Brand Guide that must be purchased at the time of your magazine package, as we will start with your Guide as the first step. The good news is that once you have your Brand Guide completed, you can share it with any designer you choose down the track or perhaps a marketing partner that wishes to work with you and display your logo, so your brand integrity is maintained.

If you already have yours done, great! You will need to submit that to us, on commencement.

2. Your Content

You will be responsible for providing your own content for your magazine, however, we will work closely with you to help you prepare the right amount of word content to fit your magazine style and layout.

Once you come on board, we will work out a page by page layout for your magazine based on the vision you have, the type of content you may already have and perhaps what is yet to write, any multi-media you would like to use and any specific requirements you may have.

Every effort will be made to spell check, proofread and grammar check your content, but we do strongly suggest that you do that before you submit it to us, so that any personal preferences or specific terms/language you may use in your industry are accurately represented in the final copy.

You retain the rights to all copy, images, video, and audio in your magazine product. In other words, it’s all yours baby!

3. Images

Any images you would like to be used in the magazine, including headshots and product photos.
We need the images to be high-resolution (minimum 300dpi).
If you do not have images, we will source only from royalty-free sites. We provide some recommended sites for you to look through as well.

4. Any Multi-Media

The good news is that digital magazines allow for you to add video, audio and links to your magazine, making a great reading experience as well as an active sales and marketing tool. You can provide media from Youtube or Vimeo and easily link it back to your website or socials.

During the magazine project, we do advise on best publishing options - privately, on your website and socials as well as the global magazine platforms.

We work on a 12-page or 24-page format and you add 4 pages at a time to find the right length for your content.

A 12 page magazine is a great way to start your first magazine. Let’s get it done and out to your customers. Ideal for a quick overview of your business, a product-driven feature, a consumer guide for your customers on a particular product or service or an update on a key project or initiative to stakeholders, partners or investors.

A 24 page magazine is ideal for a ‘whole of business’ magazine e.g showcase all that you do or perhaps a bigger quarterly or seasonal update.

Many of our clients make longer magazines, up to 40 - 60 pages, so it all just depends on how much content you want to include.

So there's something to fit your budget.

We do not offer an in-house copywriting service, however, we can recommend a number of copywriters to you if you require this service.
